VACANCIES IN PAKISTAN REFINERY LIMITED KORANGI CREEK ROAD, KARACHI

Pakistan refinery limited is a well reputed organization in the oil and gas industry, with major shareholding by Pakistan State Oil (PSO). PRL is engaged in a multi-million-dollar Refinery Expansion & Upgradation Project and currently is in the Front end Engineering Design (FEED) Phase.

PRL is looking for highly professional, self motivated and energetic individuals to become part of their dynamic team for the Refinery Expansion & Upgradation Project.

The following positions are available on One Year Contract which will be renewable on the performance.

1.        Lead Process Engineer/ Lead offsites and Utilities Engineer

Bachelor in Chemical Engineering,  having 10 plus years experience oil and Gas or manufacturing Plant.

Responsible for Feed process design specifications, Licensor’s documents & drawings, linear Programming (LP), HAZOP & SIL studies etc. Must have in depth knowledge of applicable codes, standards, process software like like HYSYS, ASPEN Plus, Pipeline Studio etc.

2.      Lead Static & Piping engineer

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering having 10 year’s experience of mechanical design and engineering experience in the Refining or Petrochemical Industry.

3.     Lead Instruments & Control Engineer

Bachelor’s in instruments/Electronics engineering having 10 year’s experience of I and C design and engineering in the Refining or Petrochemical industry.

Responsible for FEED engineering and technical specifications, cost estimation, conceptual design and logic diagrams, I/O list, control narratives etc. to required applicable standards. Responsible for HAZOP, LOPA, SIS, SIL, studies. Experience of selecting systems like DCS, ESD, SIS, BMS, SCADA, PLCs, Telecommunication (CCTV, ACS, PA/GA) etc. Hands-on experience of 3D modelling tools (smart Plant® etc. particularly SPI.

4.     Lead Project Control Engineer

Bachelor’s preferable in mechanical/electrical engineering, having 10 year’s experience in the Refining of Petrochemical industry.

Responsible for FEED Project Management Plan progress monitoring activities, forecasts, cash flows etc. Hands on experience of Primavera P

/Microsoft Project . PMP certification is highly desirable.

5.     Lead Operation Engineer

Bachelor’s in chemical engineering, having 10 year’s experience of Oil and Gas or Manufacturing Plant.

Responsible for FEED operation philosophy with inputs to process design covering write-ups, procedures and technical details with ease of operability and reliability. Must have experience of studies like HAZOP, HAZAN, ESIA, QRA, PSSR and review of  3D model.

6.     Document Controller

Bachelor’s in engineering, having 10 year’s related  experience .

Responsible for FEED document and drawing control, distribution, document Management system etc. Hands-on experience of related design and drafting software for generation of drawings, isometrics/ layouts etc.

7.      Manager Contracts and Procurement

Bachelor’s in engineering or MBA having 15 years’ experience in mega project of Refining or Petrochemical industry.

Responsible for contract management for FEED and EPC phases of the project in line with Company’s  policies and contractual obligations. Experienced in cost estimation, contractual risk analysis, conflict management etc.
